The Safestar website and the Safestar System utilises cookies. Cookies are small text files saved by the web browser, used to save specific settings and data to exchange with the Internet server of the system.

Accepting “cookies” is not required to use the above websites, but not accepting may limit their functions. Visitors to the websites can appropriately configure settings in their web browser so that saving the cookies takes place only upon the user’s consent.
DMSI uses the following cookies:

• basic – used for technical purposes;
• marketing – used for marketing and analytical purposes.

DMSI Software only uses basic cookies on the Safestar System website and in the mobile apps. The system utilises cookies solely to store information about the session of the user logged in the system, and in particular: IP address of the device used by the user, type and version of the operating system and of the web browser.

The marketing cookies used on the side of DMSI may originate from DMSI Software or from DMSI partners dealing with marketing. The marketing cookies contain identifiers and record device data and access data to record the manner in which the user uses the website. On the basis of cookies and other pseudonymised data, DMSI or its marketing partners try to personalise advertisement to the individual interests of the website users (so-called Retargeting). Retargeting enables DMSI to present advertisements to potentially interested recipients, and to measure the effectiveness and range of advertising measures.

The Controller of data obtained through cookies is DMSI Software sp. z o. o. with its registered office in Warsaw (02-699), at 23 c Kłobucka Street, flat 119, NIP (Tax ID No.): 7952492770, REGON: 180529910, entered into the Register of Entrepreneurs of the National Court Register kept by the District Court for the capital city of Warsaw, 13th Commercial Division in Warsaw, under the KRS number 0000539147.

Data obtained through cookies are processed pursuant to Article 6 Section 1(f) GDPR, i.e. the processing is necessary for the purposes resulting from the legally justified interests realised by the Controller and pursuant to Article 6 Section 1(b) GDPR – in the case of individuals using the system on the basis of a contract.

The User may at any time disable the processing of his/her data based on cookies by making appropriate changes in the settings of their web browser. However, DMSI stipulates that rejecting cookies may be linked to improper operation of the system and websites or their select functions.
